All of the sources report on the D-Day landings the day after they took place. Some of the reports were compiled by reporters who were with the allied forces as they prepared to leave England on the ships of the Royal and Merchant navies and include details of the lack of German resistance. Later reports begin to mention German resistance (by air and on land, by tanks) and how this is repelled through allied airforce action.
