The situation of Poland at that time was quite difficult. On one hand there was a Polish Emigration Government, on the other hand, there was Russian Government which wanted Poland to perform their solutions. The western world aimed to improve relationship between Poland and ZSSR, especially that ZSSR had signed some agreements with UK and USA.in 1943 Poland broke up the relationship with ZSSR as the result of discovery of graves in Katyñ.
