All the collected sources recalling the D-Day come from newspapers published with the agreement of the German occupant.
Some of them, such as “La Légia” or “Le pays réel” are openly pro-nazi and reflect the occupant’s point of view.
Other ones, such as “Le Soir” or “La Province de Namur”, try to give an objective view of the event. However, since all their information sources are almost exclusively German and controlled by the German authorities, they can only give the same information than the pro-nazi newspapers, but without the comments and the value judgments of these ones.
