The sources presented are from the most important daily papers published those days; “Trybuna Ludu” and “¯ycie Warszawy” were overtaken by PZPR.A stronger relationship was between “Trybuna Ludu” and PZPR, as the paper was an official organ of PZPR and the main tool of propaganda .”¯ycie Warszawy” was less dependent on PZPR but was also forced to promote official propaganda. From the context, one learns that the articles published there are more favorable towards “eastern block” than towards strengthening political and economical relationship in the west. Polish press aimed to show openness of the USSR to admit New members to its organization RWPG and, at the same time, isolation of western countries, which weren’t willing to accept any socialist countries.
