National Content: Germany

In the 1950ties the Treaty of Rome ensured the integration of West-Germany (BRD) to Western-Europe. After World War II it was not sure how and when Germany could participate in the European Nations again. It seemed that the integration was a decision against one Germany. But the development in the late 1980s and reunification 1990 represent the success of that first steps. Also the growing power of EU-15 and the end of the Cold War results in EU-25. In these times the vision, that Europe should be a Zone of peace, security, stability and prosperity becomes reality.
