Gagarin’s flight into space was a widely commented event in Poland, showing to some extent triumph of a human being and a kind of a scientific domination of the astern Block. Gagarin himself became symbol. The sources were the commentaries, writings in newspapers, some leaflets bound to the Gagarin’s visit in Poland.
