Interpretation of the source | The entry of Allied troops is preceded by several repeated bombings. The city is desert and you could not see nor enemy troops resisting (but only marching away silently) or liberated citizens welcoming Allied troops (after 11 months of bombings, maybe just a few of them was still in the city). |
