There are three sources from the 1.9.1939 on the Nazi-German view: On the first day of the invasion the Newspaper of Danzig publishes that Danzig is now considered a regular part of Germany and German law is in force in Danzig. It follows a discription that the occupation of Danzig by German soldiers was a "Coming home" to the German empire ("Deutsches Reich"). The monthly magazin for people from Danzig living in Germany repeats the proclamation (there are some mistakes in the three decriptions). The proclamation is from the head of the Nazi district of Danzig, who is now responsible for the city. The picture shows German soldiers at the polish border (the source is without dates). A distinction is to be done between Poland and the Free City of Danzig which was protected by the League of Nations.
