On this Picture you can see a department store it´s name was "Defaka", it´s the big building in the Middel of the picture. In front of the store is the Graf-Adolf-Straße, the street was called Adolf-Hitler-Straße at this time.

1941 the bunker l was built by a lot of people. The walls were built of concrete because they had to offer a safe protection against the bombes. The pictures show of how many layers the walls were made to get a bombe-safe construction. The thickness of the walls is up to one meter. The construction was as well above the ground as well as under the ground. One could think that the construction took a long time. But in fact during the war everything has to be done very fast.
