Contextualisation of the source | « Vers l’Avenir » is a popular French-speaking newspaper in Belgium. Founded in 1918, this daily of the social catholic trend is edited in Namur. It belongs partly to the bishopric of Namur. This newspaper is read mostly by the middle class and the working class. In 1967, “Vers l’Avenir” was edited in almost 90.000 copies. (J. Interpretation of the source | By quoting the French journalist Edouard Dobrowski, the newspaper “Vers l’Avenir” puts in doubt the fact that Gagarin would be the first man to have flown in outer space. Indeed, according to this journalist another Soviet cosmonaut would have accomplished a flight before Gagarin but he would have come back to Earth in bad health. |

Quelques jours avant lui, le fils Ilyouchine est revenu fou de trois tours du globe". Paris, 21 – M. Edouard Dobrovski, envoyé spécial de la Radio-Télévision française à Moscou, a fait vendredi midi au micro “d’inter-actualités” des “révélations” sur l’expérience de Serge Ilyouchine, qui, selon lui, a précédé en U.R.S.S. celle du commandant Gagarine.
