Re: Italians in Nuremberg

what do you think about the third justification of the nuremberg’s culprits? They told that they were strangers to the crimes because they only obeyed at their advanced orders.

Re: Italians in Nuremberg

No, there was no OItlian fascist. As you know, Benito Mussolini was killed a short time after his capture, so Winston Churchill said that they avoided "an Italian Nurnberg". You can find the complete list of the Nazis judged in Nurnberg in a loto of websites. For example, if you look for a site in Italian, you can follow this link : http://www.romacivica.net/anpiroma/nazi … ismo7a.htm
As your second question, there was nothing like an International Law, so that there was a long discussion about  the Legality of the Nuremberg Trials. You can find some interesting informations following this links:

Re: Italians in Nuremberg

About your third question (whath we think about the justification of the nuremberg’s culprits: they were strangers to the crimes because they only obeyed at their advanced orders) we not yet discussed about it. You could read :  Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil, New York, 1963 (it. La banalità del male: Eichmann a Gerusalemme, Milano: Feltrinelli, 1964, ISBN 88-078-1640-7) . We are going to discuss about it, and in a short time we'll be back in the forum.
