The problem of the event of Czechoslovakia had a big influence of the self- attitude and self- esteem in Poland. In the same year we had our serious political crisis. Poland to today has some complex as regards those events, because Poland participated in the intervention, however the Polish side did not impose a big pressure on Czechoslovakia and took care of not provoking any danger. The sources are mainly data form the Polish Bulletin of National Memory and that shows real reactions and judgements of the leading Polish intellectual persons and the honest vivisection of the Polish political attitude towards the event, especially the First Secretary of the Polish Communistic Party (W. Gomulka).
