Rzeczywistoœæ ca³kowicie zada³a k³am niemieckim przechwa³kom. Nale¿a³ równie¿ do dziedziny wojny psychologicznej. Ludnoœæ zachowa³a wspania³¹ postawê, daj¹c niezbite dowody zimnej krwi i ca³kowitego opanowania nerwów.
Original Contents (English Translation)We Set Back a Strong Pressure of the Air Forces A Polish Soldier Destroys the German Tanks A constantly advertised threaten by Germans was their air forces and Panzer weapon. They were expected to be the powers not to overcome, which were to eliminate any obstacle in its course and make it possible to set on blitzkrieg. However, the reality appeared to be totally on the contrary to the Germans’ boasting. In the course of the three days of the war, which only demonstrated to be the most essential test of the forces, it was possibly to state that Poland became a place of a great efforts on the side of the German air forces. But at the same time, it should be emphasized that Poland resisted to all the potential of that invasion. The impetus with which the German air forces fell on us did not only have a strategic meaning. It corresponded also to the so called psychological war. Its purpose was breaking down the Polish society. The German expectations towards that purpose completely failed. They did not achieve anything. The Polish inhabitants preserved their great attitude, demonstrating their proofs of their cold blood and power of will. The panzer weapon also did not bring the expected successes on the German side. The Polish soldiers were struggling very well, indicating their concentration and resistance of their nerves. Our army was equipped with a perfectly precise anti panzer equipment- very precisely it allows the German tanks to come closer and then it destroys them without any doubts. Such a situation took place in Silesia where at a certain moment Germans expedited towards the action 15 tanks. On the spot there remained all of them, none of them did not set off. Before the noon at the 3rd of this month our air forces executed a raid over a panzer group which had gone through our defense lines to the region of Czestochowa. Air forces raids joined with bombardments and shooting from heavy machine guns caused a panic among 2 German panzer columns which left the path and were seeking for a shelter. In another place a group of German panzer weapon situated on the stopping place was thrown down with bombs and suffered from big losses- estimated to 30 per cent. In this action our air forces lost 4 planes. Off course, Germans announce marvelous messages according to their victories, without mentioning their losses. And towards the relations according to the war’s course they use a propaganda method, the same way as that happened in the course of the German reports during the Great War. On the contrary to that “method’, the Polish reports not too much elaborated in words contain the absolute truth, without masking the operational picture.
