Original Contents (English Translation) | Citizens! I apologize for the delay, but duties of the present day prevent me from appearing punctually on the radio. However, everything new that lives gives us is the growth of awareness and strength of the people of Warsaw. Every moment brings thousands of facts, thousands of phenomena that solidify the faith and undying life forces of Polish people. Citizens! It was only yesterday that a German tank made its way up as far as the gates of Warsaw without getting a single shot, and it was there, at the city limits that it was shot – thanks to whom? Thanks to Polish women! Such is the power of the nation! Such is the power of the people! These days, everyone in Warsaw has a power of spirit – the power of a spirit of endurance, the power of a strength that can help everyone stand their ground and facilitate victory for our army. |
