Interpretation of the source | The article reports the try of Robert Servatius, the Eichmann’s lawyer, to discredit the legitimacy of the process wished by the State of Israel. In fact at first, he declares the incapacity of the Israeli court of judge the “Nazi crimes”, and then he asks for the postponement of the trial in front of an international court. Hausner affirms and shows the right of Israel to try Eichmann and the impossibility of a postponement because of the cold war. |

Original Contents (English Translation) | Hasner has remind that “offences of Nazism” are defined in their nature of crimes by Nuremberg’s Charter: < the inter-allied agreement of Nuremberg – said the chief prosecutor – about the definition of war crimes was ruled by “essential” principles of law, concerning man’s behaviour, the relationship among men, according to a plot of judgements which makes conceivable human society>. Therefore Hausner point out to the court of Israeli legislation based on the “ principles of Nuremberg’s Charter”, concerning the judgement of war crimes. We gather in this document exists a record as regards the Constitution of the State of Israel. |
