Contextualisation of the source	The “Messaggero” is a news paper published in Rome that usually supports the political positions of the Government. The article treats the responsibility of Eichmann as far as the deportations of the Jews, how emerges to the opposite harangues of defence and accusation without get in the political questions that accompany the trial. He didn’t limit himself only to execute the orders of his superiors, but he took part as active subject.
Interpretation of the source	The article reports the news of the various phases of the trial: Robert Servatius highlights how Hitler is the true responsible for the crimes,. Eichmann, according to his declarations, has only executed the senior officer’s orders; besides Servatius maintains the illegality of the trial and affirms that he will involve the German State in front of the magistrature that will protect his client.
