Original Contents (English Translation) | The newspaper report is a typical report from the ideological point of view of the Nazi-government.
It presents only the success in a very unbalanced way. The special aspect in the article is the description of an heroic atmosphere of the German pilots who had to fight against a heay English defense. The writer describes the success of the attack and the fire in London which is reflected in the water of the river Themes. The success is 'proved' by a quotation of British sources: "It was one of the most noisy night in London." |
