As we can see, the Russian attitude is unanimously condemned by the Belgian periodicals. Of course each newspaper has its own point of view which is often on the same wavelength as its readership. Even so we can observe two interesting phenomenons : a Socialist newspaper (“La Wallonie”) which instils some Socialist ideas, doing that way something like political hijacking. And a weekly Communist newspaper (“Le Drapeau Rouge”) which stands in a position that doesn’t allow it to clearly and frankly take a stand on the subject (it indeed contradicts either Moscow or its readers and voters).
